An Apps Aside (aka Apt Apps?)

In checking out the upcoming Ottawa International Animation Festival's 2010 site (http://animationfestival.ca/index.php), their new app link led me to the very cool AppShopper site (http://appshopper.com). AppShopper is basically an iTunes app store portal that's better organized than the iTunes app store, from what I've experienced in using both. The former also has an app, and AppShopper will send you wish list updates if you sign up (free). Looking through the AppShopper catalogue is also free. An iTunes account is required if you want any of their/iTunes' apps, 'though.

Ottawa International Animation Festival
This is the official iPhone app for the Ottawa International Animation Festival - one of the largest animation festivals in the world - that takes place this year from October 20-24, 2010.

NFB Films
With the NFB FILMS iPhone app you can watch over 1000 movies – documentaries, animations and trailers – FREE on your iPhone or iPod touch. This app is compatible with the iPad, but we will be releasing a custom iPad app shortly.
